Overview
Current Transformers (CTs) are categorized into Outdoor and Indoor types. Indoor CTs utilize epoxy resin-cast insulation and are extensively employed for current measurement, energy metering, and relay protection in AC power systems with rated voltages up to 12kV, 24kV, or 40.5kV and rated frequencies of 50Hz or 60Hz.
